This year we celebrated Teams in our network/ community by hosting them at NEST on SUNDAY 29th July 2018.
A key part of the goals of our gathering asides celebrating Collaborations & Connections was to promote the #SupportCreativity movement by enjoining all attendees and their representative groups to be part of it.
Full House Meeting was a strategic meeting for the entire members of the community to review the outcome of projects in the previous year, measure progress and make plans towards upcoming projects of the new year 2018.
This gathering of creatives was the first of its kind at NEST By KUTA.
KUTA Art Connect II was themed, “Talent and Business” and was designed to be an engaging workshop for Creatives in the community – focusing on 3 major categories:
♥Arts & Management / Performance Art
♥Film/Photography & Writing
KUTA Art Connect 2018 was keen on Art Marketing and the various Business opportunities that are available for Creatives, which is why our speakers were cautiously selected to critically discuss, analyse and introduce these enormous opportunities to participants.
KUTA Art Connect was hosted at NEST By KUTA in Abeokuta.
Rituals & Routines of Creative Photography was a Masterclass facilitated by of our own Kene Nwatu where he shed more light to understanding how to have a better creative process & how to draw inspiration from within and elements around as a photographer.
It was a 2-day event that was hosted by OOPL Youth Development Centre in Abeokuta
Creative Conference NG 2017 was a Training Workshop that featured Photography, Videography and Makeup Artists within and outside the community.
#CCNG2017 availed participants access to facilitators who taught on the rudiments of the Art they practice.
World Friendship Day 2017 was held to commemorate the United Nations acknowledged Day for Friendship in the World. The event facilitated bonding among members within and outside the community.
KUTA Nigeria entertained well over 50 participants at the event with super impressive feedback.
This was a call for RESEARCHERS, BLOGGERS, WRITERS, POETS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, VIDEO ARTISTS, PERFORMERS, LOVERS OF ART & CREATIVE ENTHUSIASTS to a fireside conversation on how the goals and objectives of the community would be beneficial to their different personal engagements.
Also, several sub-teams were formulated in anticipation of upcoming projects within the community.
KUTA Art Connect is an annual gathering of Creatives and Mentors, which started in April, 2017.
#KUTAArtConnect17 was aimed at sharing knowledge with aspiring and contemporary visual artists and encouraging them in their creative endeavours.
It was further targeted at preparing and motivating Artists to take on more creative responsibilities and to expose them to opportunities in the Creative industry.
It held at WokCity Takeout in Abeokuta and was themed – “Speaking Through Art”.
KUTA Art Connect 2017 played host to Bayo Omoboriowo, Tobe Ifeanyi, Ibi Sofekun, Venus Bushfires and Babatunde Epega as facilitators and mentors.
African Drums Festival #ADF2017 was organized by the Ogun State government in partnership with other private agencies.
KUTA Nigeria served as media partners thus creating visual and written contents for real-time upload on Social Media.
We also built a Photo Booth which was opened to attendees at the festival; the booth played host to Ara (the female drummer), Bayo Omoboriowo and other dignitaries at the event.
